A breadcrumb trail helps with complicated research and details every step you have taken to get to where you are. Now you can just go back at any point to a previous research step by clicking the previous link.

Not only does this help you avoid getting lost, it also allows you to pinpoint a particular content set within your breadcrumb trail in which to carry out your search.

Research Trail

A historical inventory and trail of all the documents you have accessed during each research session.

Search trails are automatically saved for 14 days with the option for you to extend the archive period if you so wish.

Browsing

In response to customer feedback a new browse element has been added as an alternative way to find the content that you are looking for on Westlaw UK.

If you know what it is you are looking for you can now find it easily by browsing.

The browse feature also allows you to limit the scope of your search, for example to individual publications or years.

Accessible Design and Content

Westlaw UK has been designed with accessibility in mind. The service is pop-ups free, and is compliant with both leading screen reader software and DDA requirements.
